Buffalo, NY – Mark Twain's novel "Puddin Head Wilson" was described by Langston Hughes as "a tribute to Twain's understanding of human character," and his belief that "color is only skin deep." Playwright Charles Smith addresses both themes in his adaptation of Twain's classic. The play has just opened at Ujima Theater, and Charles Smith joins Mary Van Vorst on this week's Spoken Arts.
