Russert's Wife Had Premonition

By WBFO News

Washington, DC – Tim Russert's widow says she had a feeling she wouldn't see him again when he left a family trip in Italy to return to the US last week Thursday.

An interview with Vanity Fair writer Maureen Orth is being published today in the new issue of People magazine. Orth said she told her husband "I want to give you a hug; maybe I'll never see you again."

Russert collapsed and died from a massive heart attack the following day at the NBC studios in Washington, one week ago today.

Orth also said her husband was under stress lately, due to his election year workload, and helping his father "Big Russ" move into an assisted living facility.
