Buffalo, NY – John Kane is a member of the Mohawk Tribe, but lives on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation among members of the Seneca Nation of Indians.

Kane hosts a local talk-radio program called "Let's Talk Native". He recently stopped by our studios to talk with WBFO'S Eileen Buckley about Native American issues.

Kane says despite what Governor Cuomo is saying, the state has not enforced a law to begin collecting taxes on cigarettes sold on reservations to non-Native American's.
