Buffalo's two biggest celebrities can now be spotted together in public.
Kali -- the orphaned polar bear cub from Alaska has now joined the Zoo's six-month old Luna on exhibit at the Buffalo Zoo. Kali arrived last month. But over the past two weeks he remained off exhibit to become familiar with his new living space. However, over the weekend Kali began appearing in public with Luna. http://youtu.be/od_x8LP7qAw
Monday Buffalo Zoo president Donna Fernandes told reporters the cubs are now comfortable around one another.

"He's really excited to be with her, so they are sleeping the night together. It has been very positive for both of them," said Fernandes.
Fernandes said Luna -- a female cub -- seems delighted with her new playmate.
"You'll see one go after the other to play, and then he will initiate play, so they both take turns chasing other...Though she probably initiates play a little bit more with him. She's trying to get him to come to the pool with her today, but he tends to go in the pool by himself, not with her in the pool," said Fernandes.

The Zoo still needs to raise $3-million mid-July to create a new, $14-million arctic exhibit. Without the new exhibit -- Luna would be removed from the Zoo.
There is no final decision at this time on Kali's future home. He will be in Buffalo until late summer.
The cubs will be out daily on exhibit from 1130 a.m. to 2 pm.
