The public will get its first full glimpse of Larkin Square this week.
The open air public square has moved from concept to reality over the past ten years, and it is the latest development in what has become known as the Larkin District. The News reports that the Square boasts an artsy look and general appeal with its amenities, which include a restaurant housed in a former gas station and a sandwich shop operated out of a classic Airstream trailer.
Live music will also be presented at Larkin Square throughout the summer.
The developing region has been deemed "Larkinville" by its promoters.
