Buffalo will soon have its first professional-grade soccer and rugby field.
Parker's Pitch is located on the newly opened Parker's Buffalo River Campus along South Park Avenue across from Solar City. The announcement was made Friday by company president Damian Parker.
"We just laid the sod last week. We can kind of expect our first games to be on site within the next two to three weeks," Parker said.
Other plans for the growing campus include a food court with a dozen restaurants and a European-style soccer stadium.
