Primary 2013: Polls closed at 9 p.m. Tuesday. Voter turnout was reported to be light by the Erie County Board of Election Democratic Commissioner Dennis Ward.
In the city of Buffalo a democratic primary race for Mayor pitted incumbent Byron Brown against former FBI Special agent-in-charge in Buffalo Bernie Tolbert. The winner will face republican opponent Sergio Rodriguez in the November election.
