It's official: Bernie Sanders will campaign in Buffalo. The surging Democratic presidential hopeful will hold a rally at the University at Buffalo's Alumni Arena on Monday at 7 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public, though RSVPs are encouraged. Event organizers say admission will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 4 p.m.
Entitled the "Future to Believe In Rally," the appearance is expected to touch upon the issues and themes that have made Sanders a popular choice among young voters.
An online petition signed by hundreds of UB students urged the Vermont Senator to visit their campus prior to the April 19 New York Primary.
