Buffalo businessman Carl Paladino was interviewed by NPR's David Greene on Morning Edition Wednesday morning heard on WBFO.
Paladino is an honorary co-chairman of Donald Trump's New York Presidential campaign. Fresh off Trump's primary night success, Paladino was asked by Greene about securing the needed delegates to win a GOP nomination.
But Paladino, well-known for his sometimes, over the top remarks, responded to Greene's question about those strategies by saying Trump supporters are fed up with government.
“I want to give you the chance to respond to the criticism that he has been using so-called ‘scare tactics’. Give me something substantive that you feel you could tell New York voters,” asked Greene.
“I think the press has to get over that, okay, if you’re looking to find a flaw or a gap, you’re going to find it, in anybody,” responded Paladino.
“It doesn’t matter what kind of person is the exterminator they want the raccoons out of the basement, that’s it.” Greene quickly jumped in after that remark and stated “we have to stop there. Carl Paladino thank you so much for joining us.”
Paladino continues to call the Presidential campaign a 'political revolution'. He was critical of the Republican Party calling some “the Washington elite monsters.”
Paladino issued harsh criticism for President Obama.
