As members of the UB's men's basketball prepare for their big NCAA 'dance' this Friday against West Virginia, the UB campus is buzzing with excitement. WBFO'S Focus on Education reporter Eileen Buckley visited the North Campus in Amherst.
"Horns up, go Bulls!," said Jennifer Rose, Manager of Campus Tee's inside the student union.
For the first time in the school's history the UB men's basketball team will tipoff Friday afternoon in Ohio the NCAA. The 12th seed Bulls take on the 5th seed Mountaineers.

"It's been crazy actually. They're flying off the shelves right now. We just actually had to order more and everybody keeps coming in wanting more," said Rose.
Liz Sheer is a UB graduate student who works at Campus Tee's selling the champion shirts.
"My dad keeps talking about it and he's like telling me congratulations and I'm not even on the team," said
Sheer. "They're all really excited. Everyone is buying the t-shirts and they want more stuff too."
Many UB students have not been on campus this week because of spring break, still plenty of watch parties are being planned for Friday.
"It's just so exciting for the whole campus and I think the whole community. Just the amount of excitement and press coverage and the anticipation for Friday is terrific," said Scott Weber is senior vice provost of Academic Affairs.
Weber telling WBFO this first time entry into MAC is very good for the entire UB community. "Athletics has almost this singular ability to galvanize a community," stated Weber from his office on the North campus. "I think it really is just so exciting for the whole campus."
UB received an allotment of 550-tickets, 100- set aside for UB students. We were told' phones were ringing off the hook' for the tickets to the big 'dance'.
